Sea Girls scheduled a tour 3 months before a new album was due to come out. To capture pre sales on the road, the band custom designed a wristband that could be tapped to unlock their new album. The band wore it on stage each night and told their fans that this is the way to get the new album first and support them. Once tapped, fans would immediately get early access to bonus content including track by track voice notes, tour imagery and recordings as instant grats.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

To celebrate the final Sum 41 album, Rock Sound produced a special edition run of their magazine limited to 541 copies with a Serenade sticker on the front. This sticker unlocked access to additional content including signed album artwork and four handwritten lyric sheets as digital downloads, behind-the-scenes footage of the band and Rock Sound interview clips and photos of the band.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

UK indie folk band Tors worked closely with Serenade and their label, Glassnote, to create an array of collectible merch items including lanyard boxsets, embroidered patches, clothing tags and stickers. Each one unlocked a named and numbered digital pressing of their ‘Miracle’ EP containing exclusive bonus content such as some of the band’s famous acapella and acoustic versions. These limited edition items were sold on the band’s store as a pre-order and off their merch desk during UK tour dates.
